Shades Of Balance

Our friend Liz received her roses on Monday was she was leaving for her 3rd chemo treatment. Her daughter was going to find a vase for her while she was gone – she was quite excited to get back to her room and enjoy them. In the meantime, one of her neighbors in the assisted living facility who is visually impaired stopped by because she could smell them from far away and wanted to try and see what she could up close. She thought anything that smelled that good must be worth the effort to see any little bit.

All in all, it seems great joy was brought to more than one elderly residents in this facility.
