This terracotta purse is made in crochet with sisal, a natural fiber of great finesse. The sisal bags, called Shigras, are handmade by Ecuadorian Indigenous, who have traditionally used them to transport seeds, food and personal items.
The bag has cabuya and leather handles in light brown color and tagua accessories. It includes lining and one or two pockets, depending on the model. The sizes of the bags may vary slightly since they are all handmade.
